This site, fastserve.io, is the public overview of the FastServe platform. It is a set of static pages. It has no login, no forms, and no connection to any FastServe account. This policy explains the small amount of data the site itself involves, and points you at the right policy for each FastServe product.
1. Who we are
FastServe is a restaurant platform. It is a product of ACTS9 Matcha (Pvt) Ltd, a private limited company registered in Sri Lanka under company registration number PV 00357034, whose registered name in full is ACTS9 MATCHA PVT LTD. FastServe is what the company makes; the company is who you are dealing with. In this policy, FastServe, we, us, and our all mean ACTS9 Matcha (Pvt) Ltd.
Its registered office is at 16/5 Mohideen Terrace, Ward Place, Colombo 07, Sri Lanka, which is also where post reaches us. Its registered business email is acts9cafe@gmail.com and its telephone number is 0760602251. For anything about this website or the FastServe products, including any request under section 9, write to support@fastserve.io: that is the inbox we watch, and it will reach the right people faster than the registered address will.
2. What this policy covers
This website, and nothing else. Each FastServe product surface handles different data for a different kind of person, so each publishes its own privacy policy:
- the ordering app diners use, at app.fastserve.io
- the restaurant app owners and staff run the floor on, at restaurant.fastserve.io
- the partner portal, at partner.fastserve.io
- the internal console we operate the platform with, which is staff only and has no public sign-in
If you placed a food order, or you run a restaurant on FastServe, the policy published on the product you actually used is the one that governs your data. This page does not replace it and does not override it.
3. What this site collects
Almost nothing, and none of it identifies you.
Analytics
Where analytics is enabled on this site, the one analytics tool it uses is Plausible Analytics, to count page views and see which parts of the story people read. This is a build-time switch: a deployment of the site that is not configured for analytics loads no analytics script at all, and on it nothing about your visit reaches any third party.
Plausible is cookieless and privacy friendly by design: it sets no cookies, stores no personal information, gives you no persistent identifier, and cannot follow you to other websites. What comes back to us is aggregate. How many people visited a page, broadly which country from, and which link brought them. We cannot pick you out of it, and we could not ask Plausible to.
Serving the page
Like every website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider, which necessarily handles the technical details of your request in order to send a page back: your IP address, your browser, and the page you asked for. Those records are short lived and exist to keep the site up and to deal with abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you. Our hosting provider is Vercel, which serves these pages and processes those request logs on our behalf.
That is the whole list
There are no forms on this website. No sign-up, no newsletter, no chat widget, no lead-capture pixel, and no field anywhere for you to type into. Every button that invites you to get in touch opens your own email program. Nothing on this site collects anything you type, because there is nothing on it to type into.
The site also makes no call to any FastServe system. It does not look your account up, because it has no way to, and it could not tell whether you have one.
4. If you email us
Nothing is sent until you send it. This website has no way to email you and never sends anything on your behalf. When you do write to us, your message travels through your own email provider to ours, and we hold your address and whatever you chose to put in the message for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a sensible record of the conversation. We do not add you to a marketing list on the back of a support email, and we do not pass your address to anyone else.
5. Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own, and no third party sets cookies through it. Our analytics, where it is switched on, is cookieless by design. That is why there is no cookie banner on this site: there is nothing to consent to and nothing to switch off. Browser local storage and session storage are likewise unused here.
The FastServe products are a different matter. The restaurant app and the ordering app keep a sign-in token in your browser so you are not asked to log in again on every page. That is covered by the policy for those products, not by this one.
6. Sub-processors
On this website, the only third parties involved are these two:
- Plausible Analytics, where analytics is enabled, for the cookieless aggregate statistics described in section 3.
- Vercel, which hosts and serves these pages, and which handles the request logs described in section 3.
That is the complete list, and we would rather keep it that short than publish a longer one for appearances. The providers behind the FastServe products, the ones that handle orders, accounts and email, are named in the privacy policy of each product, because those are the documents that cover them. None of them is involved in your visit to this website.
7. What we do not do
We do not sell data. We do not share data for advertising or marketing. We do not run behavioural profiling and we do not build advertising audiences.
Specifically, this website carries no Google Analytics, no Meta or Facebook SDK or pixel, no Mixpanel, no PostHog, and no Amplitude. There are no advertising trackers and no cross-site trackers of any kind on it.
8. How long we keep things
Aggregate analytics are statistics rather than records about individuals, so there is nothing in them to attach to you and nothing in them to delete. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for support and record keeping. Hosting request logs are short lived. Retention inside the FastServe products themselves is covered by the policy for each product.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to get a copy of it, or to object to how it is being used. Write to support@fastserve.io and we will deal with it within a reasonable time, and in any case as quickly as the law requires.
One thing worth being straight about. For this website specifically, we usually hold nothing about you at all, so the honest answer to a request about your visit is likely to be that there is no record of it to give you.
If your question is about an order you placed at a restaurant, that order belongs to the restaurant. The restaurant decides how it is used, and FastServe handles it only on the restaurant’s instructions and only so the order can be completed. Ask the restaurant first. We will help it answer you.
10. Children
This website is a business overview aimed at restaurant owners and operators. It is not directed at children, and it collects nothing that could have come from one. The FastServe products themselves are for people aged 16 and over, which is the same limit those products state to the people using them.
11. Where your data is handled
We are based in Sri Lanka and our main market is Sri Lanka. Our providers operate internationally, so the serving of these pages and any aggregate analytics may happen outside Sri Lanka. Wherever it happens, we handle it the way this policy describes.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top of the page is the date of the version you are reading. If a change is significant we will say so plainly rather than quietly reissuing the page.
